                                          The next meeting  will take place on Tuesday 18th November,2008 at 7.30pm

This meeting will see the premier showing of the new DVD The Silica Railway, produced by John Hudson and his able assistants, Noel Turnbull, Kevin Cole and Earl Anderson, our very own Time Team. This production is in the fine tradition of the successful Timber Getters.

Don't forget our Christmas outing once again a mystery trip arranged by Jan Guest. This coach trip, heading North I believe will take place on Sunday 30th November, 2008, leaving the Wason Street car park at 9am.

The society is making an endeavour to be the responsible body for conducting the 2010 MILTON'S 150th Birthday Celebrations.

A committee has been formed and members will be kept up to date with developments.

All suggestions for events/displays will be considered and appreciated.

This event will have it's own dedicated website as the event date gets closer. Watch this space

Don't forget the upcoming Escape Artfest from 19th September 2008. Theme this year is LAND. Our display during the Henry Kendall Festival will centre on Monsonite,  Silica and Sandstone. This display will be held over the long weekend on October
